The Corps, in cooperation with the Commonwealth of Kentucky, manages the land and water for wildlife, fisheries and recreation. The 3,050-acre Taylorsville Lake and surrounding area offers a wide variety of outdoor recreation opportunities.

Kentucky Fish and Wildlife Shooting Range and Water Fowl Management Area
Shooting Range Open To The Public. No Shooting After Dusk. Monday- Saturday 9am-Dusk. Sundays Noon-Dusk.
Single projectile firearms only; no shot shells or pistols allowed.

Waterfowl hunting hours are 1/2 hour before sunrise until 2pm daily on the entire WMA (including on the lake) from November 1 through February per item 36 on the
KY Dept. of Fish and Wildlife website.
